Together with the Swedish company I M Machinery AB,
we have developed an automatic feeder for nailing lines of wooden pallets.The equipment consists of package lift, lateral conveyers, minielevator,
rolling ramp, dosing machine and turning device. Rough edge identification takes place with the help of laser measuring or camera. Platform boards'
length may be up from 500 mm.
Description of functioning: the package is brought to the unloading lift by a truck. The lift unloads the boards to the crosswise conveyer.
The boards may at this point be on top on one another. The crosswise conveyer moves the goods to the minielevator. Since the boards may be very short, the culvert
solution works as an elevator. This way the boards will not get stuck. After the minielevator, the boards form a mat that moves to the feeder conveyer by a rolling ramp.
At this point, the surface- and core sides of the exemplar will be identified. The dosing machine feeds the good onto the turning device one piece at a time. Depending on the
identified data the board is either turned around or left unturned so the rough edge faces down. The turning device gives the boards on to the belt conveyer that will pass tem to the nailing line lengthwise from the side.
