· In 2002, we developed a new type of vibrating conveyor in cooperation with the Swiss engineers. Operation is carried out with standard components manufactured by ROSTA made for vibrating conveyors.Due to the accumulating dambers, the vibration does not reach the bottom chassis.This way the unit can be placed on a usual concrete floor.
· The other novelty of the year 2002 is the lumber turning device. Due to its simple construction, the device is very reliable and effective. Lumber can either be turned around or left unturned with the speed of 120 pieces/min. The equipment has been under production in the Finnforest Kaskinen unit for a year without any complications. At the present, we are applying for a patent for this device.
· We have delivered over 65 articles of our main patented product, Effi dosing machine, into seven different countries. Tekma Ltd, Odden Verksted A.S, Kujakon Ltd, Lekopa Ltd, Passimo Ltd and AS Hekotek among other companies, have used Effi in their own equipment deliveries.
· The newest Effi - Effi Economy - is a cost-effective option for places where only small pieces like boards and narrow boards are handled.The common features of all Effi models are their efficiency and extremely small space requirements.Effi is a completed unit, automated and test-driven in the machine workshop that can be installed in the place of the present machinery during a weekend. For example into Sweden, we have made this kind of deliveries more than 10 times.
· We have developed a new model of our patented minielevator that is remarkably well suited also for short goods and, for example, laths.There are no constraints regarding the minimum length of the board thanks to the culvert solution. The device is suitable for destinations where relatively small pieces have to be fitted into one level.
· The year 2003 started under the keyword "work". A new sorting plant for green timber has been delivered to the subsidiary of IKEA Swedwood Interani Corporation, Swedwood International Incukalns sawmill in Latvia. The sorting plant has two sorting stations. Feeding into the line is carried out by the Effi dosing device. One of the sorting stations has a patented new-typed board turning device. The line can later on be supplemented with automatic sorting system. Yet, second lumber turner was delivered to Finnforest Kaskinen. The Sawmill of Luopajärvi uses our new vibrating conveyor.
· We have developed an automatic feeder D-2000 AUTOFEEDER for nailing line of wooden pallets for the Swedish I M Machinery AB. The extremely hard and exhausting manual fill-up of the casettes that up to day was carried out with muscular strength is now finally history. The solutions noticed as efficient and reliable in the sawmill industry have now been adapted also for the use of wooden pallet industry. The equipment can be seen in action in Sweden, premises of Kopparberg I M Hart AB.
· In September 2003, Odden Verksted A.S of Norway ordered their seventh Effi dosage devices to boost the manufacturing in their machine deliverys.
· We are starting to modernize the sorting of Callans Trä Ab sawmill in Sweden during the new year.
· The most lucrative private sawmill Stenvalls Trä AB in sweden,already acquired their second Effi to their wet timber sorting.Dosing device and sharkfin sorting cleaner was installed during the first of may.Tested and preadjusted equipment was instantly ready-to-use for working at full capacity.We have sold overall nine Effis this year.
